The AOK-POE01 is a compact PoE-to-USB-C adapter that draws 10W from an IEEE 802.3af Ethernet cable and delivers it, with a 10/100Mbps network link, straight to the connected device. Its integrated USB-C cable plugs directly into door readers, intercoms and scanners — no external power supply needed.
10W 802.3af PoE budget Runs on standard IEEE 802.3af PoE and delivers up to 10W (5V/2A) over USB-C — enough for readers, intercoms and scanners that draw little power. | ■ No external power supply Powered entirely over the Ethernet cable from a PoE switch or injector — one cable run to the install point, nothing else to plug in. | ▲ Compact, ~58g body A small 79 x 30 x 21mm aluminum body that is easy to tuck in next to a mounted device. | ◆ Integrated USB-C cable The USB-C cable is built in and plugs straight into the device — no separate cable to lose or mismatch. |
Door readers, intercoms and attendance scanners are low-power devices that send small amounts of data. They don't need Gigabit Ethernet or a 30W budget — they need a dependable connection and a steady few watts. POE01 gives them exactly that: 10/100Mbps Ethernet and a 10W 802.3af budget, in the smallest body and lowest power tier of the AOK PoE series.
In schools and office buildings these devices sit at entrances and along corridors, where outlets are scarce. One PoE cable replaces both the data run and the nearest-outlet power run, so installation is a one-cable job and a device can be moved or replaced without a separate power connection.
Confirm the PoE switch's per-port and total power budget before planning a multi-device rollout.
