Why 45W Charges a Laptop While Docked
In classrooms and training rooms, running AC power to every seat isn't practical — but laptops still need to charge while students or trainees work. HPOE60 takes 60W from an 802.3bt PoE port and passes up to 45W to the laptop over USB-C PD, while three USB-A ports connect a webcam, keyboard and storage drive.
For laptop carts and flexible rooms that get rearranged, that means one Ethernet cable per seat. Moving a seat means moving a cable, and IT manages power for the room on the same PoE switches that already run cameras and access points.
